This is the slide pin that allows the caliper to engage and retract in response to hydraulic pressure. Most commonly corroded and seized and causing the caliper to bind or only partialy retract. Causes accelarated rotor and pad wear if not corrected or replaced.

This is the sealing washer used between the sealing faces of the brake hose banjo bolt where it attaches to the caliper. Service calls for this item to be replaced whenever the brake hose is removed, you might think its OK to recycle this item but consider that if brake fluid can leak out then air can also be drawn in to your braking system. It makes sense to replace this item when servicing your ATCs braking system.

This is the spring pad that hold tension on the brake pads within the caliper. Stops pad rattle and squeel and saves pads from wearing out the Hanger Pins. This item should be replaced if fatigued or missing to restore correct caliper operation.

You should consider replacing at least the caliper piston seal when servicing your ATCs brakes. After time the seal can become worn and does not allow the piston to retract smoothly after brake application. Suits all model ATCs with single piston calipers excluding ATC250R 81-82 front.

This is the steering head nut that fastens the front forks in to the frame. Regular maintenance calls for the steering head bearings to be lubricated and this item should be replaced at the same time if corroded or damaged. Correct for 78-85 models but also can be used on 73-74.
